Dogs can be the very best pets you can have around and also, the most exasperating. I have a lovely Terrier whose eyes can convey empathy, sadness, or delightful joy. How they manage to do that, don’t know. It may be due to their extra-sensory ability. In this case, they could be your best friends who mourn with you when you are in pain, and “laugh” with you when you are happy.
But sometimes, they can take their toll on your patience. Imagine just having invested a lot of time, energy, and money on grooming your front yard and backyard lawn only to find your dog digging up everywhere. What can be more annoying?!
When this unlikely but possible event occurs, how do you stop your dog from digging up your precious lawn?
To start with, you need to understand the very nature of dogs. Dogs dig for a reason. You need to understand what the reason is because you might just end up making your dog unhappy by restraining it. Usually, dogs dig because of the perceived scent of something possibly buried in the lawn and they want to check what it is; or they may want to hide and protect their food or toys from intruders or other dogs. This is very common with dogs from an animal shelter.
On the other hand, bringing a dog home the first time, they have a tendency to want to smell everything around them including the lawn and flowerbeds. They also smell for the presence of another dog. Dogs may also want to dig up our lawn for lack of anything to do. They have a tendency to dig when bored.
So, how do you stop your dog from digging up your beautiful and well-tended lawn or yard?
1. Take your dog on a daily walk or run. Exercise has a calming effect on the dog and decreases the occasion of digging.
2. Do a research on their behavior. You never can tell, you might come up with something revealing. Usually, the more info you have on a dog, the easier it is to tame them, get them to respond to you and keep them from digging.
3. No scolding. Dogs tend to register scolding negatively. Avoid scolding it. If it does dig up your lawn, be patient. Train it not to dig up the yard. If it fulfills this command once, compensate it with a bone meal or something to make it realise that if it does not dig up the lawn, it will, be compensated
4. Finally, engaging the dog in an exercise training while maintaining yourself as the leader will enable it listen to you quicker and obey your commands.

The quickest and easiest way to boost your productivity is to develop your concentration. Developing your concentration directly affects your self-discipline, perseverance, and the ability to accomplish the goals you set.
Why is this so?
Because concentration is a form of self-discipline, just over a shorter time span. When you focus your attention over a short time span, it’s called concentration. When you focus your attention over a longer time span (ie. a month, a year, a lifetime), it’s called self-discipline, perseverance, and consistency.
In order words, Productivity!
Famous author, Theron Q Dumont, said this about concentration:
“It is the utmost value to learn how to concentrate. To make the greatest success of anything you must be able to concentrate our entire thoughtt upon the idea you are working on. The person that is able to concentrate utilizes all constructive thoughts and shuts out all destructive ones. The greatest man would accomplish nothing if he lacked concentration”
The first 2 concentration builders I am giving you I learned from the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. These are the same concentration builders that many Olympic athletes use every day in order to excel in their chosen sports. Use them yourself and watch your concentration, self-discipline and productivity soar.
* Concentration Builder Week 1
This first exercise is simple, but since most people have horrible concentration, it’s good to start small. Each time you eat, smply count the number of the number of times you chew your food before you swallow.
Throughout the week, build up to chewing your food 32 times before you swallow. You’ll probably find your mind wandering and losing count. That’s ok. Just start over from 1 with each new bite.
* Concentration Builder Week 2
Again, start off slow and build upon ths concentration builder for week 2. You’ll see your concentration noticeably improving as you do. Start by picking a number from 3 - 6.
Whenver you are walking anywhere, simply count your steps. For instance, if you pick the number 4, it goes like this step. 1…step. 2…..step 3…..step. 4 and start over at 1.
If you find your mind wandering, no need to beat yourself up. Just gently go back to focusing on counting your steps.
Practice these concentration builders over the next 2 weeks and watch your concentration gradually improve and your productivity reach new heights.

You may be thinking that you will be a failure in internet marketing just because your English teacher from high school gave you an ‘F’ for your bad grammar and simple vocabulary.
And to top it off, your dear teacher probably even said that you will never make it as a writer! I’m here to give you hope because you don’t need to be all that great in writing to make money online.
Don’t let your misconception scare you. To write successfully online, you don’t need a PhD in English. A lot of successful internet marketers don’t use ‘professional’ and ‘impressive’ English in their writing. And they AIN’T gonna start!
You may be protesting: “Yes however, by procuring a transcendent lexicon and capitalizing gargantuan resplendent words will galvanize people”
Did you understand that last sentence without spending 10 minutes with a dictionary? Did my big words impress you? Probably not, if I said that to you face to face, you probably thought I was an English obsessed weirdo!
You probably wouldn’t bother reading an article that uses those crazy words, unless you are a true masochist. And I can guess only a very small percentage of people enjoy reading something like that (if any).
You probably wouldn’t want to check up each individual word, so let me translate. It says: “Yes however, by having a great vocabulary and using big fancy words will impress people.”
Did you understand that? YES of course it’s so simple! And I’m guessing most people who can read English didn’t have to go the dictionary to understand that phrase. Let me explain a simple truth, we make most money by clear communication, not by complex confusion!
The clearer we can get our message through to our internet readers, the easier it is to sell to them and therefore make more money! That’s why you shouldn’t use professional and proper English in internet marketing all the time.
Additionally, using relax ‘everyday’ language with your customers gives off a feeling that they are talking to a real live human being, which works better when communicating through the internet. Don’t be some intimidating corporate robot that’s totally not relatable to them.
We want to make our writing so simple to understand that 99% of the population will know what we are offering. Forget impressing the 1% of the population that has a huge vocabulary, because they will certainly understand our writing also!
So for those of you that had a hard time getting an ‘A’ in English class, CONGRATULATIONS! You have an advantage over other internet marketers that are brainwashed into thinking that the best way of writing is to use ‘higher-level’ English (like me - darn it!).
You don’t have to break the bad habit of using overly ’sophisticated’ English. So now you have no excuse for your sixth grade level English. For those of you who graduated with a PhD in English, CONGRATULATIONS! That shows dedication and commitment.
However, no one will understand you if you continue writing as you did for your more ’sophisticated’ colleagues! Tone it down a little when you are working with your internet marketing business.
Why do you think major newspaper write in simple English? And why are the best selling magazines written in simple English?
Yup, you’ve guessed it. They write in simple English so that more people will understand their content and more people will buy! You can show off your ’superior’ English to the few people who actually care.
So if you are guilty of having perfect ’sophisticated’ English in your message, re-edit everything so that even the dumbest sixth grader will understand it. You’ll have messages that will be clear and more people will understand what the heck you are talking about!

The most important step in building your online business is without a doubt: market research. Find the right niche and the rest is easy. Find a niche with too much competition and or where people just aren’t interested in buying anything online and you’re business will sink faster than a bowling ball thrown overboard.
Market research is where the real decision is made as to who will prosper and whose business will wither away.
Even though it’s that important, people ignore this vital step because it seems boring.
I’d like to share a strategy today that you might actually enjoy to finding a niche that can earn you a comfortable living online and kiss your boss goodbye forever (if you can do so without losing your lunch).
First you need to realize that the best niche for you might not be the one that you know the most about or excites you the most. It’s nice if it is. But there just might not be too many people out there interested in underwater basket weaving to support yourself online.
So it’s important to first find out what’s hot and what’s selling and ONLY THEN create a product that the market really wants.
Where do we come up with ideas for niches that are chalk full of hot of buyers.
Let me suggest that you start your search with a stroll to your local bookstore. Take a look at the magazines that are placed at eye level. These are the ones selling well. Look at what niches they cover.
If those magazines are selling well in those niches you’ve got solid proof that there’s plenty of people willing to pay for this sort of information. Jot down some notes about niches you might be interested in and then go home and research these niches on the internet to nail down your niche even further.
Try to figure out what problem they have that’s still not being fully addressed by going over to Amazon and Ebay and look at their “top sellers”. Don’t reinvent the wheel, just add a new and improved twist on those products that are already hot and you’ll always be certain that there is a market of hungry buyers interested you’re product. Maybe there’s a solution to dog training but there’s no step by step guide with diagrams, for instance. See where you can step in where everyone else has left off and make the market even better for the customer. Do so and you’re guaranteed to have hungry buyers for your product.
So first find the demand, and then fill it. Not the other way around.
Ready? I’d like to share with you the secret I use to find niches that are not only hungry but are starving for my products.
Armed with this secret you’ll be able to charge more for the same product , work less to promote it and humiliate your competition. You’ll find the answer at: http://easynicheprofits.wordpress.com/

Kevin Ferguson, now better known as Kimbo Slice, is a street fighter who gained infamy of unprecedented proportions after fighting people in homemade videos. He is also a bodyguard for adult film producer In the VIP. Kimbo became known for his Miami street fighting with his backyard brawl videos, beginning in 2004.
Kimbo Slice vs. Big D The first Kimbo Slice fight was in Big D’s yard in Florida. It appeared sometime in 2003. This was the origin of Kimbo Slice, but Kimbo wasn’t actually referred to by name; both fighters were anonymous. The video was just another streetfight captured on tape, although a lot more graphic than most typical Youtube fight videos. With the help of the grotesque harm to Big D’s eye (Kimbo most likely broke his orbital bone as his eye was dislocated), and his lovable catchphrases and quotes, this video brought great internet awareness and scandal.
Kimbo Slice vs. Sean Gannon Kimbo Slice’s first defeat came from Sean “The Cannon” Gannon, a Boston police officer who offered to fight Kimbo in a secret location. The rules are unknown and both fighters claim the other violated these and cheated. The outcome, though, left Sean Gannon standing as Kimbo Slice lay on the floor of the room unable to bring himself to his feet as Sean Gannon waited, even after attacking Gannon when he was on the ground. Gannon did in fact use a choke manuever and a knee to the head, but Kimbo attempted a takedown and also attacked Gannon from the mount, so possibly both fighters violated the rules. The Boston Herald, a Boston newspaper, soon stirred controversy about the fight.
Kimbo Slice in MMA A few years later Kimbo Slice caught the attention of MMA promoters who saw him as a marketing possibility and the new face of MMA. While Kimbo has brought many new fans to watch the sport, critics insist these fans are only watching to see Kimbo fight, and not interested in mixed martial arts. So far, Kimbo’s professional record is 5-0, with wins over Ray Mercer, Bo Cantrell, Tank Abbott, and a close call with James Thompson.

Symptoms of scabies include a scabies rash, which looks like tiny red bumps or blisters, and severe itching. You may also see tiny red “threads” between the bumps, but these are so small that they can be difficult to see. The itching is by far the worst of the symptoms of scabies. It is relentless and can keep you up at night.
Scabies is a condition in which one becomes infested with mites called Sarcoptes scabeie. These eight-legged mites are about 1/3 of a millimeter long. They cannot be seen with the naked eye but can be viewed with a magnifying glass or microscope. The mites burrow into the skin and cause a scabies rash.
How do you get scabies?
You can get scabies through close physical contact with someone who has scabies. Close physical contact is required. For instance, scabies is often transmitted during sexual contact. It can also be spread from a parent to a child or from a child to a parent when the parent is holding the child. It is unlikely to be spread during casual contact like shaking hands with someone who has scabies, though.
The mites can only live outside the body for a very short time, so you are unlikely to get scabies from bed linens, clothing, towels, etc. that have been used by a person with scabies, though it is possible. You cannot get scabies by drinking from the same cup as someone who has it or by using the same bathroom. You should avoid close contact with anyone who has symptoms of scabies or a scabies rash, however.
Scabies cannot be spread from animals to humans. Dogs can get a form of mites that is often called “the mange” which has symptoms of scabies similar to those humans get, but it is not the same thing. People cannot get the same form of scabies that dogs get, and dogs cannot get the same form of scabies that people get.
How do you get rid of scabies?
If you have symptoms of scabies, you will want to get scabies treatment right away. Untreated, symptoms of scabies will just get worse and the itching will grow more and more severe.
Scabies treatment may include a topical cream and/or an oral medication. Generally only one or the other is prescribed. Both are about equally effective. The topical treatment has fewer side effects, but is messier and less convenient than the oral medication. The topical cream is usually applied to the skin from the neck down, left on for about eight hours or overnight, and then washed off. This should be repeated in seven days. Oral medication is taken as soon as symptoms of scabies are diagnosed, and then a second dose is taken two weeks later. You will need to see a doctor to make sure that you have a scabies rash and not some other skin condition. Then your doctor will prescribe the appropriate treatment for you. Family members or any other persons who may have been ex posed should also be treated, even if they do not show symptoms of scabies, but to be on the safe side.
It is usually recommended that you wash bed linens and clothing in hot water to kill any mites there. Scabies can live for about 24-36 hours outside of the body, so wash any clothing, towels, or other items you have used during that length of time prior to treatment. You do not need to worry about cleaning any other items because any mites left on them will die on their own.
Scabies is easy to diagnose and treat, so make sure you see your doctor at the first sign of a scabies rash so that you can begin scabies treatment right away.
This article was written by Scott Mogul, editor for http://www.healthy-skin-guide.com/. This website provides information on recognizing and treating the scabies rash.

Most people who have a computer would like to learn how to make money working online. The challenge usually is knowing where or how to get started. Most everyone anticipates earning “big” money quickly only to experience little to no earned income. This usually leaves a person feeling frustrated and either ready to quit or more determined to get better results. If you maintain the burning desire to make money working online, you will need to keep your focus.
Writing to you from experience, I can tell you first and foremost - find a mentor! Find someone you KNOW who has obtained the results you would like to have for yourself. By this I mean you want to learn the truth about anyone who has claimed or is claiming, to make money working online. Don’t fall for “smoke & mirror” type results that express or show a high or outlandish return on their effort. Use your own sensory acuity and listen to your inner voice. If it sounds to good to be true, then it probably isn’t true at all. A great number of success stories are embellished specifically to get your interest and more pointedly, to get YOUR MONEY!
I’ve read a great number of ebooks, “how to” manuals and numerous other resources to help in determining the “right” or best tools for the venture. I’ve gleaned tons of incredible information from countless writers and their publications. One biggie that sticks out by devouring many different authors points of view is this, if you find yourself reading the same type of information from various individuals, you can bet it’s factual. The key is how to pick the best one(s) to learn from without spending a small fortune before seeing a return on your investment.
Best way to learn how to make money working on line is to not only read it but view it as well. My learning curve increased drastically by watching online videos of “how to” examples. Most people learn by watching others do something and then “copy” it or imitate their process. By doing so, you should find yourself getting the same results as your teacher or mentor. After all, if you want to make more money working online, you should be duplicating someone else’s success patterns for yourself. Not to be a “copy-cat” or “me-too” product but more along the lines of catapulting (or slingshot) you forward to success faster!
The key for me to make money working online has been doing something proactive on a weekly basis. If you can take some form of action each day, then you will progress much faster. Obviously the more time you devote to make money online then chances are, you’ll see results much quicker. I suggest “weekly” because most individuals that want to free themselves by having an Internet based business have other jobs too. It’s important to understand you can have success without being “married” to your computer every single day. Work smarter not harder or longer!
As an estimate, plan to commit at least 10 - 15 hours per week for at least 1 full year, as a suggested minimum! Everyone experiences different types of results throughout their first year but stick with it. Learn from others mistakes and benefit from their success tips!!

Have you ever been riding your bicycle around the block when a dog comes running out of it’s yard and starts chasing you down the street? Maybe you’re walking down the street when you spot a rather large dog a few houses away. The dog appears to be unattended and you don’t know if it’s friendly. Has this ever happened to you? Your walking your small dog (on a leash) down the street when suddenly your confronted by a strange, free roaming dog and it’s growling and in the attack position.
What do you do? What can you do?
In the first scenario, described above, where the bicyclist is being chased by a dog, you would probably start peddling faster while simultaneously kicking out at the dog in an attempt to both outrun the dog and prevent it from biting you. The second scenario has you walking down the street when you spot a large, unattended dog a few houses away. Lot’s of people go for walks carrying a base- ball bat or large stick to protect themselves just in case the dog turns out to be, shall we say, unfriendly. First, carrying a baseball bat or a large stick can be cumbersome and get heavy after awhile. Second, you have to be prepared to beat the dog (not an easy thing to do). Imagine how you will feel afterwards. So, instead, you’ll probably just turn around and walk back rather than take a chance. The last scenerio as described above, has you walking your small dog on a leash, when your confronted by a larger, strange dog. Most likely, you will pick up your beloved pet, hold it close to you and then just hope for the best. Trying to run away almost never works.
Let’s look at some other options. One is to keep the dog from coming near you in the first place. You can accomplish this with an electronic animal repellant. Using ultrasonic technology, the devise produces a discomforting but not harmful high frequency sound, audible to dogs but not to humans. One such device is the Ultrasonic Dog Chaser. It’s small and lightweight. It measures 3 & 3/4 inches by 2 & 3/16 inches by 7/8 inches. That’s roughly the size of a deck of cards. Weighing in at just 3.5 ounces with the 9-volt battery, it’s quite compact. It has a frequency range between 20,000Hz - 25,000Hz. At 135dbs, it has an effective range up to 20 feet. The device is easy to use, too. Point the animal repeller at the dog and press the button. That’s all there is to it. It’s also safe and humane. The electronic animal repeller is not the repeller of choice however, if your walking your dog.
A second option is to whip out your trusty dog repellent spray. Mace makes a safe, humane and effective dog repellent spray that’s EPA approved. It sprays 8-10 feet, but don’t spray it into the wind as the results could prove to be dis- astrous. Here’s how it works. When sprayed with a pepper spray dog repellent spray, most dogs throw themselves on the ground rubbing their eyes. The painful burning effects of the spray typically wear off within a few minutes, leaving the dog healthy and unharmed. Choose dog repellent sprays with pepper spray, also known as OC (oleoresin capsicum) spray, as it’s ingredient. Other sprays may not work on dogs that don’t respond to pain. It’s totally non-toxic.
Another option is the stun baton. A favorite among security guards, it is very effective on dogs. Just touch the dog on it’s face. It will drop to it’s knees, turn and run. Normally, however, the clicking sounds the baton makes when turned on is enough to deter the dog. Stun batons come in different lengths ranging from 300,000 volts to 500,000 volts. A stun baton is a stun gun placed into a baton. Stun guns use high voltage and low amperage to temporarily disable an attacker. It does not rely on pain for results. The energy stored in the gun is dumped into the attackers blood sugar by converting it to lactic acid. Unable to produce energy for the muscles, the body is unable to function properly. The stun gun also interrupts the tiny neurological impulses that control muscle move- ment, causing the attacker to lose their balance. All this happens very rapidly. Should the attacker be touching you, the current will not pass to your body. Of course, as a last resort, you can use the baton as a stick or baseball ball to hit the dog with.
So go ahead and take that walk down the street, or pull out your bike and ride around the block again. There’s no need to be afraid of those stray dogs any more. Have FUN!
You can find these devices in some stores and on most internet sites selling self protection products.

Hey even I’m willing to learn new things if there’s a broiled lobster in it for me.
When I’m hungry that is.
If I’m not hungry, or if I’m so distracted that a lobster won’t tempt me, then I’ll blow you off to continue doing what I want, not what you want.
That’s pretty much how your dog sees the issue when you train with food. If he’s hungry at the moment, and if there’s nothing more compelling going on, food can be a great way to reinforce behaviors you teach your dog. On the other hand, if Fido isn’t food motivated, or if he’s got something “better” to do, he won’t be interested.
Nonetheless, training with food has its benefits when used as a motivator and a reward. For those dogs who just aren’t normally interested in treats, you can substitute play with a toy if that motivates them.
The first thing you have to know about using food in training is how NOT to use it. The primary rule is not to use it to stop an unwanted behavior. Instead, use it to create a new behavior you want to teach.
With those rules in mind, you won’t teach your dog to stop growling at other dogs by using food. But you may be able to teach him to sit more quickly if there’s something tasty in it for him.
Before I tell how you to deliver food treats when training, let me tell you WHY you should not use food to try and stop an unwanted behavior. The answer is because you can accidentally reinforce the very behavior you’re trying to stop.
For example, let’s say Fido growls at other dogs on his walks. If you tell him to stop growling, and distract him with a treat, what has he really learned?
Here’s what YOU’RE thinking…he stopped growling so I rewarded him for that with a cookie. He won’t growl again.
Here’s what FIDO is thinking…this is cool, I growl, then mom pops me a cookie. Let’s see if this works…let’s growl more!
Think of food as a directional reward. How, when and where you deliver it all determine whether the treat teaches your dog what you intended, or something else altogether. For example, you tell Fido to sit, and you hold a treat six inches over his head, while pushing down on his butt.
Sound about right? Wrong! By holding that treat six inches over his head, you’re really teaching Fido to sit then immediately break that position in favor of jumping up to get the cookie.
Instead, start Fido standing on a closely held leash. Show him you have a cookie, by holding it at nose level-only an inch from his sniffer– while he’s standing up. Direct his attention, and nose, slightly higher by raising the cookie only enough so that he must tend toward a sit to view it. While he’s focusing upward only a couple of inches over his nose, use your other hand to push his butt down, while your cookie hand keeps the treat only a couple of inches from his nose as it moves.
As soon as he is sitting, deliver the treat to him just slightly above nose level, and slightly toward his rear. This means that to collect the treat, Fido must actually lean back into the sit more to reach it.
Mission accomplished! Food hasn’t been just randomly delivered to your dog, leaving him wondering why he got it. Instead, the food has clearly communicated how he can get this treat even faster next time, by sitting when you ask.
Anyone getting hungry?

Want to generate great traffic to your website? Try writing articles. The traffic you generate with articles is ongoing; traffic will keep arriving at your website for years to come. This makes articles the cheapest and best form of advertising.
But how do you ensure that your articles bring you traffic? Here are three tips.
1. Create Great Titles
Most of your traffic will reach your site via the search engines. This means that your article titles should contain the keywords you’re targeting, as well as a benefit to the reader.
For example: in the title: “Dog Training: 5 Easy Tips You Can Use Today”, the keyword is “dog training”, and the benefit is: “5 Easy Tips You Can Use Today.”
The article description is also vital — look on the article description as a small advertisement for your article in the search engines. Don’t spend too much time worrying about article titles: as long as they’re moderately appealing, your articles will do very well.
2. Inform, Educate and Persuade
Although article writing is a form of advertising, you’re not allowed to sell in the body of the article. All your selling is done in the “resource box” at the end of an article. Therefore consider that the body of your article should have two primary aims: to inform and to educate. You can persuade and sell in your resource box.
Once you realize that you don’t really have to sell in the article, you’ll understand that your article topics can be many and varied, as long as they’re linked in some way to what you’re trying to sell in the resource box.
3. Set Goals for Your Articles
If you believe that article marketing “doesn’t work” it’s because you’ve never taken the time to create an article marketing campaign and tracked it. Once you get into into the habit of writing articles in campaigns to achieve a specific goal, and track those campaigns, you’ll realize that article marketing always gives you a great return on investment.
If you haven’t tried article marketing, get started today. Within a short time you’ll have increased traffic and will be convinced of your articles’ value.
